I got approached by someone asking to sell advertizing on the site.  It's not a lot of money, but it's enough to cover many of the operating expenses.

Donations have dried up, so I've been running the site at a loss, which is fine, since it's my personal site, but it's nice to not have a lot of money coming out of my pocket.  But ultimately, part of having a site is having others come to it and enjoy it, so I don't want to push traffic away.

The ads would be non-intrusive text ads at the bottom of the screen, and shouldn't be for anything adult oriented.

I would have voted yes get the ads if I'd have read, non-intrusive, etc...  Before I voted.

I like pie.  Especially my favorite, French Silk.  And it is your site.  If you don't need the money, I'd say no.  But since you are paying out of pocket to keep it up, I'd understand.  If it doesn't hinder me in any way, you won't see any decreased traffic from me. ;D

I need to fix the bottom banner to show up on all three sections anyway, which is non-intrusive.

I won't stoop to those annoying word highlight ads.
