ALIENS: An unplanned pregnancy leads to complications.

LORD OF THE RINGS: Midget destroys stolen property.

Apparently Rock Band 2 set is $99 at Walmart at the moment.
95  Hobbies / Gaming Discussion / Re: Guess what Wizards just announced? on: August 17, 2009, 10:14:21 AM
Yes, I think it could be a lot of fun.

Some people were talking about a sorcerer king pact for warlocks.  There's also some debate about the inclusion of clerics and paladins, though changes to the Paladin may make it work now.

I loved Dark Sun, and I hope this goes over well.
96  Hobbies / Guild Wars / Re: Bront.org Guild Wars Players and Guild Members on: August 17, 2009, 10:12:13 AM
It's in good hands, and I know where the new leader lives. Smiley

If I get more active again, I'm sure he'd give it back.

So if you are not the Guild Leader anymore, who is running your Guild?
Dad apparently.  I could probably get it back if I asked, but he's on more.

Looks like no Gen Con for me. Sad
102  General Category / The Theatre / Re: G.I. Joe: The rise of Cobra on: August 11, 2009, 08:33:50 AM
From what I've read, most people seemed to have enjoyed this more than Transformers, and the previews make it seem more ridiculous than it actually is.
103  Hobbies / Guild Wars / Re: Bront.org Guild Wars Players and Guild Members on: August 11, 2009, 08:31:29 AM
I try, but I don't too often.  My dad and Jim still play a lot though.

Apparently I'm no longer the guild leader, but that's not a big deal.

It is a lot of game for not much money though.  You can get all 3 core games for something like $40 in a single pack now.
104  General Category / The Hotbed / Re: Obama Mind Tricks on: August 11, 2009, 08:27:12 AM
He does have to prove this at some point, so anyone involved already knows the truth (I am very sure any agency that makes sure that he can legally be president has done so and can access such records).  So bowing down to media pressure due to unsubstantiated rumors is probably not the best policy anyway.  Likely, it's simply a matter of principal.

What do you do to help you deal with stress?

I think I'd like to be a Parrot.  You'd get to fly, be taken care of, and talk.

You and I gotta find the C max folks.
Lots of them will be at the Ennies on Friday Night.
108  Hobbies / Gaming Discussion / Cool Deal for Rock Band on: August 04, 2009, 12:47:46 PM
From MTV Direct (Verified by Harmonix Staff at Rockband.com)

For $99 you can get the Rock Band 1 Bundle (Wired Drums, Guitar (Wired for 360, Wireless for PS3) and Mic, with disc), Rock Band 2 Disc, and the AC/DC Live Track Pack.  That's 183 disc songs, and 20 (well, 24) free downloadable songs, of which all but 3 can be exported to Rock Band 2.

It's only for the 360 and PS3, and there's $15 shipping, but it's a pretty good deal if you're looking to get into the game.

I'll hit up Jason, JC, and Seonaid.  You need to hit up your mom (no pun intended), and Mark need to check the forums.

Peace of Mind - Boston
Come Together - The Beatles
Go Your Own Way - Fleetwood Mac
Enter Sandman - Metalica
Bring Me To Life - Evenescence

Sadly (or not), all of those songs either are or will be in Rock Band.

What are your top five favorite songs of all time?
117  General Category / The Theatre / Re: Fox tries to shut down Watchmen movie. on: July 24, 2009, 11:04:45 PM
I recently read on Eclipse Magazine's website that a Director's Cut DVD was released with 20+ scenes added but it didn't include the Pirates of the Black Freighter. In the near future they are going to release an Ultimate Watchmen edition which may (or may not) include said pirates. We shall have to wait and see.
I can wait. I'd much rather buy the movie once.
118  General Category / The Schema / Re: Javascript: void (0) Error on: July 24, 2009, 01:53:36 PM
Firefox will work with most sites.  Some sites (particular anything on Illinois Unemployment) requires IE (though it works in IE8).

I've had no issues with IE8, and you folks are the first people who I've heard have had problems.

On a side note, I always suggest you have it download but not install updates, and then do it on your own time.
119  General Category / The Theatre / Re: Fox tries to shut down Watchmen movie. on: July 23, 2009, 09:50:00 PM
I'd like to see the extended cut.  If it ever comes out and includes the Pirates of the Black Freighter in the set, I'll probably just buy it.
120  General Category / The Schema / Re: Javascript: void (0) Error on: July 23, 2009, 09:48:23 PM
Uninstall IE 8.0 and install IE 7.0. IE 8.0 is buggy and it could very well be an issue with IE 8.0.
Actualy, the issue is that IE 8 is not default backwards compatable with IE 6, and IE 6 did not read HTML code according to the HTML standard (instead, it read it to Microsoft's HTML standard).  There's a setting in IE 8 that would could have been changed to get it to work.
