yep. Me too. Be interesting to see how Peter's powers develop. Perhaps a mental rolodex....

I'm waiting to Nikki to figure out she can not only assert herself, but she has the strength too. She did it once in Prison.

I also find it funny how Mark's power is why he failed, looking for Nikki.  I was disapointed when he kept the diamonds though.

I think Mark will be key in aiding Nikki's assertion. (what is christopher ecclieson?'s characters name?) Dr. Who w/beard's character is...interesting. I am more than interested, also, in seeing how Claire's 'father' deals with the Hatian when he realizes he was not obeyed.
what else...
Hiro and Mr. Linderman. That should be interesting. Was kinda nice seeing Mr. Sulu being a hard@$$. Three more days, sigh.

The invisible guy, yeah, he's got an interesting take on things. (Claud is his name according to IMDB)

I'm suprised they haven't gone more into Hana, the new character (who had an advertisement for her before they resumed the show).

Have you been following the Web Graphic Novel?  They actualy refer to it in the show on occasion (events, not the novel itself).  It's canon with the show.

A web graphic novel, you say? Well, I will be following it, from this point. Does it have weekly updates, or bi-weekly? Nm, I'll find out soon enough.

Weekly.

I prefer to DL them and read them in PDF format, but either way works.

Ok, Monday's episode... wow.

Certaintly the most action packed so far, and it holds promises of more.

There are 2 more episodes before they take a short hiatus again, then the last 5 of the season (22 in all).

True. True 'dat.
While I never got into the show Lost, I have heard there were people who were totally addicted to it, only to loose intrest, as the plot tapistry wove itself with more loose ends than not. While I belive having several loose ends is key to a good series (SG1, ie), I hope Heros avoids the issues that Lost had.
I need CLOSURE, man!

Yes, Lost answers 1 question with 10 more, and usually the answer made less sense.  Heroes isn't that bad, and it usually just answers a question.  I think that we just hit a turning point where we will get more answers than new questions.

I Just have one thing to say....Holy freaking moly! I just tonight got the idea that Mr. Bennett works for Mr. Linderman. It just makes sense. 'specially since Sulu had a cameo. I have a feeling that the season finale will tie up many loose ends, while creating a few more..

Cool, just saw the last two episodes!

Heroes does not disapoint.  I hope they don't kill off Mohinder, but I think that Syler will have problems examing Peter, since Peter can fight back, and regenerate.

But who is the mastermind?  Is it the powerful buinessman in the kitchen...or is it the grandmother?

I don't think the Grandmother is a mastermind.  On the contrary, I believe she's part of the superpowered people's resistance to HRG's organization.

Linderman (the guy in the kitchen), is in charge of something... though I'm not quite sure if he's not a third influential party or not.

I'm still waiting for Hiro to fight the dinosaur and learn english.

Tonights episode is going to be so cool...

I was watching Larry King Live, and the actor that plays Hiro has an 180 IQ and designs computers.  He's also not the same guy who plays Future Hiro I think...

Hiro's actor also has a bit part on a show called Scrubs.
I am a little miffed @ the writers. I have been led to believe that the final 5 episodes of this season are 'what if'-ie kinda feeling to them.

Of course, i have always been of the idea that when writers fall back onto 1)time travel 2)parallel universes 3)omnipotent (plot hook) alien races (read:Q), they are scrambling.

Actualy, it's just this next episode, which should fit in nicely with Hiro having warped there.  We'll learn more about what they are trying to avoid, and perhaps get a plan on how to avoid it.

However, in a show that features someone who can predict the future, and someone who can travel through time, some of that dues ex machina should be expected.

Still, they've so far shown that the future is hard to change once it's known, so they'll have to find a reasonable way to get around that.

I realize that, but to waste a whole episode on a story about a future that isn't going to happen because it is going to be changed gets under my skin, especially with so few left and no word as of yet on a second season.  I wish they'd just do a quick jaunt into the future and get on with the main story line instead of stringing me along and wasting a whole episode to boot.

They're signed for a second season actualy, have been for months (since the first break), though I've heard rumors the 2nd season will be a completely new cast.

The future episode delivered, particularly with Nathan's reveal over half-way through.

The experience in the future will help Hiro figure out what to do in the past (and makes Isaac's sacrifice worth it).

I'm giddy after that episode.  That rocked!

I retract my last post, this last episode ROCKED!!  I mean, it kicked all sorts of highney!  Just one serious continuity issue though.  Why didn't Syler gank Hiro as soon as they got thier grubby little paws on him?  Or at least after he got Clair?  He would have been unstoppable.  Akin to a demigod.  Oh, and another issue is why didn't Pete when he discovered Syler just stop time and knock his block off?!?  Poor oversights on the parts of the writers on what was otherwise a totally kick ass episode, if i don't say so myself.  And thanks for the news on season two Tim, it really warms my heart.  After SG-1 goes off the air, this will take its place as best show i've got to see thats still on the air.  Sweet sweet sweeet!

Eating Hiro would have given away his cover.  Later, not sure why Peter doesn't, other than maybe he doesn't realy want to be cheep.  He's also angry that he just lost his brother (or just found out about it at least).

Season 2 will have any survivors from Season 1.  Kring changed his mind after outcry and people becoming attached to the characters.

Oh, and #7!!!

(#7 is short hand for Hiro rocks if you don't know)

The Haitian would counter his power(s) to.  Honestly, I'm suprised he ever got near the haitian.

Hmmm, that poses an interesting question.  Lets say the Haitian is in the next room, close enough to supress their powers so Hiro can't excape.  And Syler cracks his scull open like an egg and sits down for some tacos de ceso (thats brain matter tacos for those of you not initiated in authentic mexican cuisine, fyi for the next time you pop in at your local taqueria and see it on the menu, now you know),  he would still get Hiro's power once he left the vicinity of the Hatian, at least thats my understanding of how their powers work.

Possibly, but he can't use his skull cracking and decrypting power around the Hatian if the Hiatian didn't want him to.

Are you sure?  My understanding is that the Haitian only supresses thier powers, it doesn't take them away.  So when Syler left the Haitian's vicinity, his power would still be there, along with everything he has accumilated thus far.  You know, i think Syler could take the Haitian.  The Haitian has to have a range on him.  Syler could just stand off and telekinetically fling stuff at him til he sticks him with something (kinda like vader and luke in cloud city).  Than Syler would be able to supress everybody elses powers too.  Naaasty.  Just a couple more hours til the next chapter...
