Basic Rundown: This is an average D&D campaign.  I'd like to keep it under 6 players, so the first six who submit a good character will join.

(I've already reserved spots for Bront and 26376, since they were supposed to be in the original version of this...so really there's only 4 spots left.)

OOC: Basic Character Creation Guidelines
Stats: All stats are to be rolled up either by hand (On the honor system) or by using invisible castle. The method is 4 d6, re-roll 1s and 2s and take the highest 3.

Character Sheet: There will be posted later, a Character Sheet that I want you to fill out. I want you to fill it out and post it as a post to the community so that I can archive it in memories.

All charachters start at level 4. (6,0001 EXP) And have 2 d6 * 4 GP. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Gear and encumbrance I'm going out on a limb here and assuming that you're not going to overload your character with crap. The only stuff I'm interested in is armor (you can choose anything that your character is able to wear, I'm going to assume you already have it since you're level 4), weapons (see above armor assumptions) and any magical items.

ALL MAGICAL ITEMS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE DM.

Classes All classes in the 3.5 PHB are allowed, within reason. All characters must get final approval from the DM, but I'm sure there won't be any problems. (*looks at Tim*) It's suggested that at least one of you play a cleric or healer of some sort since you will be dealing with undead and lots of it.

Also: Weapons restriction: You may have up to two weapons max. The only exception is if your character has the Two-Weapon Fighting feat. Must get approval from the DM. And then, it's a max of 3 and only one of them can be magical.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

I'll post the Intro and Backstory here in a little bit.  (Any idea where I should put that Tim?)

Both the OOC and IC threads work (Out of Character and In Character), though here is better till we actualy start Smiley

I may do the first 2 sheets just so you can see them.  I personaly like #1, but that's me.  Both work.  Either way, best way to edit them is in notepad or some other text editor.  Not Word.

You can also edit posts here pretty easy, so you can just change the top post (which is a good idea when adding basic info).

Wow, my old HTML sheet converted fairly well.

Still, I'll adjust it to the other format.  I still like #1 better, but #2 works as well.  I may do both so you can see the difference.

#1 is the format I used for Ros.

Since Jenni is still new, any applicants should post a little bit about their character here, and wait for approval before posting in the character thread Smiley

I know that you have asked for PHB 3.5 only, but I noticed that Bront made a cloistered cleric, are there any more sources that you might allow in?

I made a cloistered cleric because it was out on the web, so that's pretty much what you're limited to, as that's what she's limited to at the moment.

Okay I think I'm going to go with a halfling rogue.  To add a bit of flair (and because I like things that are at least a bit out of the ordinary) I would like to use the Intermediate Fire Elemental Bloodline from Unearthed Arcana. ~Link

Rolled on Invisible Castle for my stats. OMG they rock. ~Link

I am going to resurrect a character concept that I really enjoyed playing before, a lucky rogue names Fluke Smiley

Appearance: Fluke is short and skinny for a halfling, which makes him particulariily small from the perspective of the tall races.  With his dark cloak pulled up over his head he melts into the background and is often missed even when standing out in the open.  His angular features accentuate his burnt umber eyes and long, firey red hair.  He typically wears a set a dark grey leather armor to maintain as much freedom of movement as he can.  Small flasks, sunrods, and other alchemical devices are hidden in multiple pockets alongside daggers and thieves' tools.

Personality: Fluke is a gambler in all things, taking his chances whenever the situation arrises. He likes to think that he is lucky, but his nickname really does fit as sometimes his gambles really fail spectacularly. He delights in getting away with things, especially when the risk is very high thus picking pockets and general sneakiness appeals to him greatly.   To his friends he is fun to hang around with, his jokes bring laughs wherever he goes (as long as he doesnt stay too long as his repetoire is somewhat lacking), but his flakey attitude has landed friends in just as much trouble as him in the past.

5K sounds about right.  Check my character to make sure.
