Atlantis isn't all that bad. It has it's episodes that suck... but then again what show doesn't? Overall so long as the writers don't lose their focus it should be good. So long as ya like life draining leaches with funky head moves as bad guys.
If you like SG-1 at all you will like Atlantis.

It's a pretty good show. I didn't like McKay on SG-1 but he is great on Atlantis. The interactions between the characters are good and a lot of the times funny. It gets even better when the character of Ronon is introduced. (I would love to see a fight between Teal'c and Ronon! Who do you think would win?)
With the ending of SG-1 it's nice to see that at least one character is making the transition to Atlantis so we will still see more from that character.

Atlantis is OK, its not as good as SG-1. Mostly from a character and story stand point. I like the characters from SG-1 more. And the story arcs thus far are more original. Atlantis started out kinda as a cross between Stargate and Gilligan's Island. Now they are not stuck in the Pegasus Galaxy any more, and some of the stories are quite cool, but all in all not as good as SG-1. It'll have to do after Stargate goes off the air.

Are you kidding? Ronin would go down like a spiked buck! You saw what he did to Mitchell. The better question would be Cameron vs Ronin. Hmmmm. Might have to give that one to Ronin. Unless Teal'c takes him under his wing that is.

Would you care to elaborate on that at all?

I was trying not to spoil it for any who didn't want to know.
Ok, that was just wrong. I just saw a preview for the new season of Dr. Who and I swear I saw a Wraith!
Cam vs. Ronon? Ronon all the way dude!

I think it'd be a coin toss as to who'd win between Teal'C and Ronon (checked the spelling on scfi and the way I got it is how they have it spelled) tho. Course I also think Teyla could probly kick Mitchell's butt to

I dunno. Mitchell is no slouch. Just because Teal'c owned him doesn't mean he cant hold his own. In fact, he was actually holding his own vs Teal'c for a second there. Kudos to the Mitchster.

The "T" man all the way. (course Worf would jack him.) Since we as of yet haven't seen what would happen with a Ronin vs Teyla, if she could take him, I'd still bet on Teal'c in a T vs T match.

Well, as we saw in the final episode, Cam was better than Teal'c at one point. Of course now that all of that didn't happen, Teal'c is probably still the better even though he is much older now.

Well, according to gateworld.net (which got it from the SciFi channel site) Atlantis will be starting on September 28th at 9 pm. Sci-Fi Friday will start off with Dr. Who at 7, then Flash Gordon at 8 followed by Atlantis.

Last few episodes have been interesting but it's not grabbed me the way SG-1 did when they started a new season. The angle they took to get rid of Weir was very much like the one they used to get rid of Ford... anyone even remember that character anymore? Not saying that I'm beginning to dislike the show, far from it, but they just haven't grabbed my interest completly yet. Almost feels as if the writers have to take a previously done idea and mix it up for something newish. Oh well just my opinion.

Really I am just not that into Atlantis, it's ok and all and at least I can get my scifi fix but its almost boring.
I watched Flash, boring
I watched Dr. What ... Boring
My only hope is that BSG will comeback and save me from boredom.
Is it just me? even the Ironic women isn't all that exciting.
oh well ....later all....

It is a little slow moving it seems and rather wishy washy as well but thus far I haven't been all that disappointed with it. Sci-fi of last tho has been sorta boring. I'm honestly not holding out much in the way of hope for BSG to liven things up any either.
