Sen. Herb Kohl (D-Wis.) was pleased. He won approval of his "NOPEC" amendment, which would allow the Justice Department to sue in American courts the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries for alleged price-fixing.
Apparently, this passed in both the House and the Senate by enough of a margin that it could overcome a veto. But my question is this... WFT?
How the hell can the US try foreign organizations for not following US standards of free trade on foreign soil?
