I got introduced to an online RISK like game that's pretty cool.  www.landgrab.net  I'm registered as Bront over there.

If anyone's interested, I could organize a Bront.org online game.

I'm not a very avid player, but it's something to pass the time, and with rules like 12 hour notifications of your turn, 2 notifications to skip, and 2 skips to robotify, things move eventualy.

I like risk and all (especially 2150) but I hardly make it to my computer enough to be competitive from the sounds of it.

Can you check once a day around the same time?

Highly unlikely.  Sometimes there are a couple of days where its very difficult to hop on.  Sometimes in a row.

Meh, either you give it a try or you don't.

I'm actualy playing against 5 bots at the moment to hone my skills, since before I played (and lost) a game earlier, I hadn't played in 20 years.

I would give it a try, I could play a turn a day thing.  Weekends would be a problem for me.

I'll ask the Michigan crowd and see if any are interested.  Might get a few to visit your web site.

It's not my website, I just play there.

But I'm willing to organize a few games.

Games can go slower than a turn a day on occasion, and it will bot you if you can't continue.

I've played/am playing 10 games so far, a few "live" ones, and others where I didn't take a turn for 3 days.

If you start a turn a day kinda game and want players let me know.  I didn't get any response when I emailed about it to the gang here.

Did you sign up at landgrab.net?  What's your user name?

You need an account there before you can get game invites.

And I usually only play a turn a day style games.

Bront, you're so popular every time you start a game it's full before I can join.

I've only invited you to 1-2 games and usually as an extra.  Most of the games are run though Circvs Maximvs with friends there, so those tend to be kept in house.  I'll send you an invite into one soon.

It didn't sound that interesting.  But I'll take a gander anyway, if it doesn't look too elemetary I might even give it a try.  But no promises though.

It's significantly more addicting than you might think.
