The new Hugh Jackman movie featuring our favorite X-man is to start shooting next month and is scheduled for an 08 release. Directed by some guy I've never heard of. I really hope its not PG-13. It wouldn't be a real Wolvie movie if it ended up PG-13. I hope they do it right. I know I'll be there opening night.

Only english movie he directed was Rendition, which comes out on the 19th of this month.
Wolverine was never my favorite X-man, but oh well. We'll see how this goes and how much they stick with the cannon of the other X-Men movies.

So who is you favorite X-Person
for me I'v been partial to Rogue - cool powers with a balancing drawback, and an excellant back story.

Collosus rocks!
He's never been well represented, even in video games though.

I think the X-Men Legends games did a pretty good job of representing Colossus.
As for my favorite X-man, that would have to be Rogue. I've always liked her power and that she was a villain who became a hero.

My favorite X-man would have to be Nightcrawler.

Ooh, Archangel is definately up there. I'd love to see a spinnoff on the four horseman, that would rock! But W is still top on my list. He's got the AAA effect going for him. "attitude", "adamantium", and "asskicking". I guess some people don't like him that much because they're too alike. Meh.

OK, my opinions on the mentioned X-Men...
Drew, don't dis on Wolvie just because of the way he is looks or the attitude. It's not like he can help it.
Colossus is cool, but I have to agree that he has never really been well portrayed in film.
It is unfortunate that for Angel to be accepted as 'cool' he had to under-go an 'enhancement' process by Apocalypse, but he still hates himself.
Rogue is cool and she filled a definite need for a second 'brick' on the team, especially one that could fly under her own power.
The best thing that Nightcrawler has going for himself is the Teleportation, otherwise he is simply a watered-down version of Spidey.
Wolverine, what more can I say about a guy who may live for centuries, has resisted implantation by The Brood on at least two occassions, has acted as Death (one of the four horsemen of Apocalypse), has fallen for most of the female members of the X-Men, fought side by side at different times with both Captain America & The Ghost Rider, is the best there is at what he does, and secured the future evolution of the human race (see THE UNCANNY X-MEN Giant Sized Annual Volume # 1, Number # 11, Published 11/01/1987)? Nothing, 'Nuf said!
As for my favorite X-Man, well I would have to say that my all time favorite is... Lockheed!!! (go dragon)

Not too shabby, and of course, you have to stay until the very end of the credits...
I'm a little weak on Deadpool, but I know that Sabertooth and Wolverine are not supposed to be brothers. And one other thing, Gambit ROCKS!!

Yeah, I enjoyed the movie. Sabertooth and Wolverine were friends as children back in the 1800 in the comic version of origins. I think they did a great job.

The movie was ok in my opinion. I'm ticked off at how they screwed with deadpool. The deadpool I remember never had katana's in his arms, teleporting ability or a friggin eye beam. Ok so maybe he is the ultimate storyline deadpool, because I know nothing of that deadpool really but I can't see them messing with him like that. His big thing was the fact that he had healing factor and he was a wise cracker much like spider man. Oh and he used swords. As for the whole sabertooth/wolverine being brothers thing... that bothered me less the then drastic hollywood make-over of deadpool. All in all I can happily say I'm glad I only spent $4.50 on the movie, cuz if I had spent full price I'd probly want a refund.

Yeah, I knew virtually nothing about Deadpool before the movie, so I did a little research and they juked him pretty bad. Gambit was cool though, even if his accent was wrong.

Nothing about the swords in his arm, but he has had a device that let him have a limited teleport ability for a while. I think Cable built it for him or something like that.
Deadpool rocks, as he breaks the 4th wall. I'm sure they didn't do him justice in the movie.
And how can someone bend their elbows with Katanas in their arms?

Very carefully?
Anyways, my whole point is if you ignore the whole deadpool/weapon XI crap, it's a decent movie. It could have been better but it could have been worse (like the first attempted hulk movie). Only other thing to mildly bother me was them just randomly deciding to add gambit to the movie... since the only point of his being there was as a plot device. The other interesting thing I noticed was Stan did not make an appearance anywhere that I noticed. Which struck me as a bit odd.

The 4th wall is a term used is comics and movies where a character will turn to the camera and talk to the audience.
