I've seen 2 Star Trek games, one for the Nintendo DS, and one for the Wii.  Can't find out much about them.

Anyone know anything about either?

Haven't heard anything about them good or bad.

Critics hated the Wii version.

Can't find any info on a DS version.

Looks like the Star Trek video game curse is still in effect.  Games from the franchise are often fairly awful, sorta like the inability to make a good Superman or Batman game I guess.

Sean McClean- Mechanic on the Crimson Phoenix (SerenityRPG via OpenRPG)

Crimson Raptor- Stabby Regenerating Hero, (SAS 2nd edition, d20)
Nijel "Sprite" Cooper- Combat Decker (Shadowrun 3rd Edition)

Yes I've read Shadowrun 4th edition.  No I don't like the new "Matrix" or the existence of Essence 6 mage/hacker/rigger/samurai.  Give me DNI decking or give me death.
However I'll take a SR game however I find it...

I found a review of the DS version on Gamespot, they said it was OK but repetitive.

I have the DS Star Trek game.  The sad fact is it's very repetitive.  You start out playing the Federation then you unlock the Klingon campaign.  The Federation isn't hard, the Klingon one is a pain though.

OOoohhh!  A cool topic!
Well I have both Star Trek Conquest for the Wii and Star Trek Tactical Assault for the DS.  The Wii game is cool, but rates very low in the replayability category, as the galactic map is quite small and is always the same from game to game.  I found myself loosing interest after the first 8 hours or so of play.  And thats saying something from a die hard trekkie like me.  The DS game I have to admit to not playing very much.  It is very limited in how it unfolds.  It sounds like it is quite cool once you get everything unlocked, but you have to go through a bunch of boring stuff in order to get to the cool locked stuff.  Oh well.  I really have found no equal to the PC stuff I have.  Birth of the Federation rates as one of my favorite Star Trek games, And Star Trek Legacy wont even play smoothly on my computer, which doesn't suck much.  So I look forward to the day when I can tackle that one with vigor.

BTW, I could loan you either of those titles if I thought I would see you more than once or twice a year.   Wink
