Well I saw the commercial for the new MMORPG stargate worlds.
and it looks cool.
tried to get onto the site but so did tens of thousands of others so it was very slow.
but from what I saw the screen shots look cool and reading through the wiki it sounds like something I could get into.
anyone knows if its a pay to play? (peggy I'm looking at you)
if so how much?

Most MMORPG games are.  Guild Wars and City of Heroes are the 2 exceptions that come to mind of successfull non Pay to Play games.

Is this up and running yet, or is it still on the horizon?  I saw a preview during Atlantis this last Friday and it looks pretty darn nifty.   drool

Sources online say about $15 a month. Too rich for my blood. Let's see. I have had Guild wars for about 2.5 years...thats about 450 dollars, give or take. No thank you. Ill stick to my single purchase of guild wars, with no fees.

I might check this out, but the Star Wars MMORPG kinda soured me to the whole thing.

You know there's gonna be some 12 year old named "Darth Baal", or some original crap like that, who will have his account spread across three friends and be the most annoying person in the realm.

But dammit it's Stargate which means I'll part with money over it...
