Bront, I have noticed that you review mostly console games. I am glad that you have done a DS one.

Two things.

I tried to leave a comment on the Mariocart review, but it just stared at me, bovine-like. I click-y on the comment tab, and the page doesn't load. Moooo...

Have any plans on doing PC games? Guild wars would be a start, once you get to...ah..the crystal desert. you are about 65% done at that point, and can write a solid review. I read a good review for Dominions 3, once, and it made me want to buy it...

I do game reviews of games I have once I get a chance to play them for a while.

I can do a guild wars review once I play a bit more.

I might do an Oblivion review if I ever get a chance to get back to it.

I have Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

I'll check into the comments.  I was never thrilled with how they worked, and may just remove them.  There is a thread in the gaming forum about the review as well.

Ok, I removed comments for now.  The update hosed the database.  I might put them back once I get that straightened out.

Hey D, are you planning on making a review of AW: DoR?  Its not like I'm not going to get it anyway, but I'm just kinda curious on what someone I trust thinks about it before I pick it up, so I know what I'm getting into when I get it, and stuff..

If someone wants to write a review, I'd be willing to edit it and put it up.  I'm not sure if I want to stick with my current format, or the newer one I used in Mario Kart, or Blend the 2 (I've not gotten any feedback from you folks when I ask for it).

You've asked about games I've reviewed...

*sigh*

For what it's worth, I'm looking for opinions on how the review is.  Not if you agree/disagree.  A good review should be informative, and let any reader have an idea if they will like the game, even if the reviewer did or didn't.

Really?!?  It looks to me that the question was directed towards Drew.  Since when have you started going by "D"?

*sigh*

If only people would read the posts.

Let's see.... remember this?
How does that work, for the Wii and all?
Well, you could read the review I WROTE and get my opinions from there Wink

I gave it a 9.0 out of 10.  It's downfall is that it's almost too easy to control, though playing Hypermode has fixed that (Yeesh).  If I hadn't played Metroid Prime 1 & 2, it might have been rated a bit higher, but it seels fairly close to those games other than the control scheme and a few extras.

Honestly, did you read the review?  Feedback is always useful.  (It's the top story on the front page) and it's nice to know if I can improve these so I can get better at writing them.
I don't read crappy reviews, especially by people who don't know anything about writing reviews.  All I wanted to know was how it worked with the Wii platform and all without a bunch of witless banter, sheesh..   Tongue Wink Cool

That wasn't even from this thread.  And in addition, in those quotes I never asked about your reveiw of any game, I asked a specific question about a game you just so happened to write a review about.  And that was a single instance anyway, which hardly accounts for the "games" you said in this quote:

You also asked about good Wii games, and I have reviewed several others.

And seriously, it wouldn't have taken you that long to actualy read the review, particularly since I covered the exact question you asked in the review.

Seriously though.  Read the review.  You might enjoy it.  And if you don't, you could tell me how I can fix it.

I don't write the things just because...

No, actually Drew, this is one of those rare instances where you are wrong.  When was the last time I wrote something just "because?"  I don't think I've ever written anything without an express purpose in mind.  How about you?

My bad, buddy. I just remember, over the past few months, looking at the posts and seeing the (sometimes)un-inspiring input, and seeing that you ahve over 1300 posts, and i thought you were basically bot-ing posts to build up your status on the forums.

And by uninspiring, there are several categories. Ones i disgree with, ones where you ask irrelevant questions/didn't read the posts right before, or ones where you are being a little too agressive in your disagreement w/ppl.

Nothing too big, mind you...

Oddly enough, I've had to ask myself several times if you were serious or being funny over agressive multiple times.  After a while, I began to doubt it was for entertainment value.

A good example would be... say, the Metroid review thread, where you instead of reading the review, in the review discussion thread, ask about the game.
