Hi Everyone,

I have dropped the Ventrillo server as I found Teamspeak a much better fit.

The server name is "HOoL Server" and you can look up the IP using the built in client search.

I reccomend leaving the default Codec in place.

Check and set you microphone sensitivity.

Also recommend setting the latency to lowest latency as opposed to great sound.  With the mic's and voices we have, it will never be great sound, but low latency is much better for coordination.

I will leave the server up and running, but I seem to have a problem.  My router works at connecting and then seems to stop working.  If I reboot the router, everything starts working again.   I am not the only one with this problem, it seem to be quite common so you might need to contact me to get things working.

I usually game using the "Eileen Trueshot" character, so put that into your friends list and PM me if you need to get on.

John

FYI:

Under network settings, Change the Number of Packets to Buffer both to 2, and that almost completely removes the delay.

I forgot how nice my Mic was.  Has an on chord mute and everything Smiley

I have now stabilized the Team Speak server.  The problem was with a setting in my router called "game mode".

It appears if you set it ON that the Team Speak IP port disappears after a time.  I think it should have been called "no game mode"!

Once again the server name is "HOoL Server" and the IP can be looked up.
The password is "honored".
