Creating Guild/Alliance rules

We really should flesh a few of them out. This is what I've come up with so far, wanted to see if there were any objections.
---------
Guild Rules:
1 - Have Fun
- Guild Wars is first, and foremost, a game. It's a place for us to relax and enjoy ourselves. As a guild, it's our goal to help our members and others enjoy their time when they play.
2 - Be Helpful and Friendly
- No, you don't have to help anyone who asks with a mission, nor give them stuff if they ask, but try to help out other guild members when you can, and try to be friendly, not only to guild members, but those outside the guild as well. Being nice and helpful reflects well on the guild, and can help us grow and find new allies and friends. Say hi on chat when you can, encourage others, and offer help when you can, even if it's simply advice. Please don't spam chat.
3 - Keep it Clean
- Guild Chat and Alliance chat should be kept clean. Please watch your language while using them. Joke around with other members all you want, just be aware of what you say, and how you say it.
4 - Rank is only a title
- After a week of membership, players will generally be promoted to Guild Officer. The Guild Officers titles don't mean that the players know more than any other about the game, or should be commanding other members in any way. Guild members are made Officers so they can offer invites to friends and good people they meet. As Guild Leader, I view my position as more an administrative role than a commander, and it's my job to help facilitate the guild and it's members.
5 - Be Active
- Everyone has other things going on, so we understand if you can't get into Guild Wars for a while, but please try to show up on occasion, and if you can't, try to let us know where you are (You need not give out much detail if you don't wish). Guild Officers may be demoted if inactive for over a month, and anyone inactive for over 3 months may be kicked from the guild and will receive an invite to rejoin us once they return. Members who discuss their absence with us will be given more leniency. Basically, we want to see your smiling face on occasion.
6 - Don't be a Jerk
- Players violating the rules of the Guild Wars ULA, or Scamming others, will be removed from the guild. Players violating other guild rules will be dealt with appropriately. Hopefully, this rule will never have to be an issue.
7 - Guild Funds
- No one will ever be required to spend money on the guild (other than money to invite players, which is minimal). Guild funds will be tracked in the open if you chose to make a donation to the guild towards Guild Hall improvements, Guild Events, Prizes or other incentives, Alliance invites, or just to help with costs incurred by others towards helping the guild. Donations can be public or private, and people who donate will not gain any additional benefits or consideration from the guild beyond our gratitude.
8 - Guild Growth
- As the guild grows, some of these rules may change, particularly how officers are handled and possible requirements for officers to attend guild events or practice GvG and AB.
9 - Have Fun
- Did I mention this?
----------
Alliance Rules:
1 - Have Fun
- Guild Wars is first, and for most, a game. It's a place for us to relax and enjoy ourselves. As an alliance, it's our goal to help our members and others enjoy their time when they play.
2 - Be Friendly
- Try to be friendly, on Alliance Chat. Please don't spam chat.
3 - Keep it Clean
- Alliance chat should be kept clean. Please watch your language while using it. Joke around with other members all you want, just be aware of what you say, and how you say it.
4 - Check Alliance Chat
- You don't need to be on it all the time, but please encourage guild members to check Alliance Chat.
5 - Obey the Rules
- Players violating the rules of the Guild Wars ULA, or Scamming others, will not be tolerated.
6 - Guild Rules
- Rules for each guild can be anything the guild wants, as long as they don't violate any of the Alliance rules.
8 - Guild Growth
- As the alliance grows, some additional requirements of each guild may be asked, including but not limited to some required guild presence during alliance events, and/or practice in AB.
9 - Have Fun
- Did I mention this?
------------
Any comments or suggestions? I think it's mostly common sense.
Feel free to note any spelling/grammar issue with this as well. This is a rough draft.

I think it was supposed to be EBay
or not. I'll fix.
These seem reasonable? I don't want to make anything particularly restrictive, but I felt we needed "Something". The only one I really worry about is the time rule, and I don't think asking someone to be active once every 3 months or tell us if they can't is unreasonable.

When our guild gets a bit bigger, i would like to have an addendum. In order to be an officer in the guild, we need to practice in pvp w/alliance/guild members. Other than that, it looks good.

Not a bad idea. I'll probably file that way in the rules as a "When we get bigger" thing.

Ok, I added the "Rules change", and fixed any noted spelling errors. I've also put them in the official Rules and Roster thread for the Alliance.
