Two games to go and I have a two game lead for the BYE. Bad Mama Blues is coming on strong, it might be a photo finish.
If I can get a win this week I will be feeling a lot better. Can you help me out a little Tony?
It looks like the Purple Cobras is making a strong run for the last playoff spot. That team looks better every week. He could be the dark horse that comes out of no where and wins it all.

Tony, congrats on beating me. That was a nice win for you -- you are now in the driver's seat for that last playoff spot. You might turn out to be that dark horse sneaks up and wins the whole thing.

Tim, I just noticed that you can steal that #1 seed from me if I lose and you win this weekend, and your team is looking pretty good heading into the playoffs.
Looks like I got my work cut out for me.

Alright Tim, it looks like I am going to keep that # 1 seed. Also looks like Tony will get that last playoff spot. Congrats Tony. Next week should be fun.

Sweet! Playoffs!
And your team is looking pretty good.
By the way, do you want to do the College Bowl Pick'em again this year?

By the way, do you want to do the College Bowl Pick'em again this year?
I just got e-mail that the Trib is running a bowl contest (same system as all their other Upickem stuff). You could create a private group there.
Here's the e-mail:
Quote
Dear college football fan:
Your friend has signed up for the free college
bowl contest at Chicagotribune.com, and he thinks you would get
a kick out of it, too.
The game is simple: Just guess the winner of each game for each
bowl game. Not only do you have the chance to win the grand
prize, but you can compare your scores with that of your
friends'.
Check it out at

Wankers knocked off the Aces. Predators are in the final game.

Congrats Tim. And congrats to you also Liz. My team ran out of gas at the end. Good luck to both of you. May the best football junkie win.

I got pounded. Looks like the Aces aren't in the running either. What a season. I can't wait for next year. I love this fantasy stuff. I think I'm addicted. But next year we HAVE to do a live draft.

Live draft wasn't in the cards, but I'd love to try to get one togeather. Problem is you need a time when you can get at least 80% of the crew togeather, and the other 20% not minding missing it.

Count me in. I've done the rookie stuff for two years now. I'd like to try tailoring my team better from the get go and see if that yeilds better results. I'm assuming it does, since the rookies don't do it, and the veteran fantasy players all do.

Actualy, I tried to do 2 live drafts of my 7 teams this year, only managed to show up for 1 (and yet, I'm in the playoffs or championship in both leagues).
Last year, I didn't make the playoffs for 1 live draft, and won the other league, but that live draft was a joke (2 of 10 teams showed up).

Did that make it easier to get who you wanted?

Yes. I could adjust to the draft, they couldn't.
Looks like I need Greg Jennings to not suck (IE, score more than 5 points) for the win. Aces have locked up third. Congrats.

I believe I should officially be declared the worst team, since I finished ninth and then lost all three consolation ladder games. No other team managed 12 losses.

I'd consider you the worst team even if you'd come in first
Er, I mean...
Well done folks. Lots of fun, lots of trades, and congratulations to Me, West Haven, and everyone for a well played league.

Came back from Florida late yesterday. Tim, congrats on your win. I would love to have a live draft as well. Look forward next season.

I miss football. And now that we have a QB that doesn't suck, we should have a good chance in the playoffs.
