I used to take orders; now I execute them.

I'm surprised with the number of Star Wars fans in this forum, a post has yet to be made about the new demo for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Well, here is what you need to know...

YOU ARE KICKING BUTT WITH THE FORCE!

Imagine picking up a Stormtrooper... what do you do? (Decisions, decisions!)
a) Hurl him toward the attacking AT-ST Scout Walker
b) Toss him down the seemingly endless pit
c) Send him barreling through a cluster of his trigger-happy companions
d) All of the above (because there are many Stormtroopers)

Overall, I was extremely pleased with the demo (so much so, I just pre-ordered it from Amazon). I can see only one potential flaw with the title, which I'm hoping was merely a glitch confined to the demo:  the targeting of enemies/objects. I'd attempted to 'lock on' to an object in front of me, but it selected an item that was in closer proximity BEHIND me. It only happened once, so it was likely a glitch.

Has anybody else played it? Let me know your thoughts. The demo is available in the Marketplaces for Xbox 360 & PS3, as well as the current issue of "Official Xbox Magazine". Or stop over by my place...   Grin

Force unleashed will be on the 360, PS2, PS3, Wii, DS, and I think the PSP.  And yes, the PS2 and PS3 version are supposed to be different.  At least, if I remember everything I read it is.

There's a comic on the background of this.  Ugh, the story is bad.

Finally played the demo. I'd have to agree and say the targeting system stinks but still overall an interesting game. I like being able to toss around pretty much anything I want. Can't wait for the full version.
