So, who is coming and who's running what. I am thinking of starting up a Highly-Narrative, Space Opera style RPG. Character creation will require some time as it is a joint story telling type thing between the players & GM. If everyone liked it, I'd be interested in running it twice a month on Saturdays. I also picked up a few cool board games at Origins & Gencon that I'll bring incase no one is in an RPG mood.

I'll probably be working at 5 that night, but I could be persuaded into doing something Shadowy in the morning.

I think I am going to make it, but what I do and how long I can stay will depend n if I have Sean with me or not.

We should be there - Drew, Nathan and myself.
Any chance a DI playtest could be incorporated into the day - you know - take advantage of the presence of several folks involved in the Pentad and playtests, and get a playtest out of the way? Just a thought.
Mark, Troy - Should we bring anything?
And what time do festivities begin?

Starts at 9. Bring meat to throw on the grill or a side dish to pass.

Mark, is Jeff's DI15 complete enough that we could run a play test or has he not gotten the updated version to us yet?

Bring stuff. I will have some stuff but the more the better for those that don't eat breakfast before they come.

If you do, we can bring the kiddie pool for Serenity and Nathan in case the weather is hot enough for a swim. Let us know!

Cool. I'm thinking we will, just not sure if we can make the 9 AM showing. I'd like to, since we'll need to be up before then the next day.

Reid, is this a 1 shot that could go campaign? I'd love to try it as a one shot. My problem with campaigns is that my schedule swaps weekends every 12 weeks (though i'd love to try).
Of course, I'm happy to just game.
Mark, mind if I invite my parents?

I am hoping to make it a campaign. Why not try it out anyway. The first one is always free.

I may just do that. Got any background info you can send me I can mull over?
I'm not sure I remember how to play a non-fantasy game.

So, What are all of the activities people are planning to run/play. AFAIK, it looks like that there will be:
Starblazer Adventures (a la 'Zilla)
Starship Troopers (Vernenator)
Dragon Isles 15 (Mr. Smith)
plus numerous board games

If there is an interest in Shadowrun, that is always a possibility.
