Anyone interested in a game of Werewolf?

The game basicly plays as this.  You're all villagers and some of you have been infected as werewolves.  The werewolves know who the other ones are, but the villagers know nothing, but some may have a few special powers.  Each day, the villagers vote on who to hang as a wolf (and that person is hung, right or wrong), and each night, the wolves kill a villager.

The villagers win if they kill all the wolves.

The Wolves win if they reduce the villagers to the number of wolves left.

This isn't the White Wolf version FYI

It's simple, before we start, I PM the players their roles, and we start.  Once the votes are in, you hang the lucky/unlucky soul who got voted for, and anyone with stuff to do at night PMs me their actions for the night.  Then a new day starts, and you go from there.

sounds like mafia. Only the 'normal folk' had a sheriff, doctor, and..er..can't remember.

how do the turns go?  Do the players vote each day? or do you play real time ish during a prescribed period? 

Are we allowed to know the special abilities that might be at work.  It would greatly help in detecting the wolves if we knew the other powers at play.

I'm interested depending on how you do the turns.

Ok, the Parts (Some may or may not be active)

Citizen - You're a normal citizen.  Nothing special.

Werewolf - Your job is to kill people every night and get the population down to the same number as wolves to win.

Doctor - The Doctor can watch over a citizen, and protect them from the wolves if they attack

The Spy - The spy can watch someone overnight and find out if they're a normal citizen, or something else.

No one will know who anyone else is when it starts.  Everyone will get one vote (which will be bolded and in red, and can be changed up until the final vote is cast).  The player with the most votes gets hanged.  Then a night passes, and if there are any more wolves left, they get to kill 1 person.  Repeat till there are no wolves left, or as many non-wolves as wolves.

There are other variations of this, but we'll start with the simple one.

Is there knowledge among the townsfolk of how many werewolves there are? And, do the werewolves know who the other ones are?

Interesting Drew. If you had to ask that question, does that mean you you are not a werewolf? Or maybe you are and are trying to throw others off. That would be just like you!!
