Hi techies.

Several months ago, I got online, and all of a sudden it seemed as if everything online shrunk. For instance. Being on Bront, the screen, the letters, everything appears smaller (on my lap-top I should have mentioned) than it does on my work computer. Not due to a smaller ocmputer screen. And when I am on Google, what normally takes up the whole screen, now only takes up about half of it.

Some sites I go on I can't even read the writing because it is so small.

Does anyone know what might have happened, and better yet, how to fix it? I don't want to take it to Circuit City or Best Buy, but I will have to if noone knows what to do about it!! Oh, if only Chuck were here!!

Thanks guys!

If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, the easiest thing is to hold down the 'Ctrl' (control) key and scroll the wheel towards you, that will increase the font size in your web browser.

If you do not have a mouse with a scroll wheel, you can select 'Text Size' from the View drop-down menu and increase the font size that way, that should do the trick.

Rakor has the likely solutions.

It's a "Feature" for zooming in and out of text, and it's fairly easy to accidentally trigger it.

Ash, if that doesn't work, I could take a look at it for you sometime.

Does it happen with any specific web browser or with all of them?

I tried the Rakor solution. It does work, but things seem to be out of proportion with each other - or some lines almost seem to be covering up other lines - maybe it is a matter of just finding the right "font" size. But, it does help in the meantime, so thank you.

It happens with every web page. So Lathlander - I may bring it to next gaming night and have you take a look.

Thanks to all of you for your input.

Ash, you can try one other thing, from the 'View' drop down menu, select 'Text Size' and select 'Normal' or press Ctrl+0, that should do the same thing.
