[Werewolf the 3rd] Of Wolf and Man
«
on:
December 02, 2008, 10:52:27 AM »
The common citizens of Buymoria is a prosperous town. Under the strong leadership of the wise mayor Mayor Lathlander, life in Buymoria is pleasant and easy, and united in it's worship of Jimbango, life is good.
However, this morning breaks from the norm as a bloodcurdling scream comes from the Mayor's house. The Mayor is dead, his guts strewn about the foyer. Written on the door across from the entrance, "This town shall be sacrificed" is scrawled on it in blood.
Murmurs of news from Brontnia had spread, where the citizens bravely banded together to hang the wolves. Stories of San Philpo have spread as well. Will Buymoria repel the evil influence of the wolves? Or will this quiet little town end up like San Philpo?
The Rules:
Have Fun
Aeson Town Drunk
Bront Innkeeper
Crispen Fry Blacksmith
Drewcifer Priest of Jimbango
JC Bartender
Lunie Midwife
The blood on the walls is her own this time
Morthax Lumberjack
Loved his wood so much, the hung out with it too much
Rakor Farmer
Painted the town square red with his blood
Shay21 Seamstress
Thrakath Miller
Wulfwynn Tavern Wench
Hung out in the basement too long
Day 1
The wise Mayor Lathlander is murdered (Oh Calamity!)
Wulfwynn was hung out to dry for playing in the basement to long.
Day 2
The great Knight Rakor redecorated the town square with his innards.
The Lumberjack Morthax enjoyed the excitment so much, he forgot how to stop breathing.
Day 3
The Midwife Lunie learned the hard way that even a door will not protect you from a werewolf.

No one saved San Philpo, what makes you think Jimbango can protect us?

I had heard that the townsfolk of San Phillipo hung their priest... and they also worshiped some strange god. If you have faith in Jimbango he will protect you.
As to what happened last night all I heard was screams while I was sleepin.

There are a few things we can do, my brethren. I have heard tale of mysterious murders from a league away, and they defeated the forces of evil therein. We should all gather together in the Master Bront's tavern to disuss strategy. Have we any military men here, that know of strategy?

Nay no military experience here good sir. I've been a Miller my entire life. Perhaps we should discuss this further in the Tavern.

Hmm.... everyone gathering together in one place sure seems to me like a good set up to get us all killed! Hmm..... what I wouldnt give for a pair of eyes in the back of me head.

Ah but don't ye know there is strength in numbers? Besides it is a good idea to plan defensive strategies.

Until we figure out who our enemies are and start eliminating them. Anyone have thoughts on who the vile beings are?

I'm all for going to the tavern. For a drink today I'll gladly pay you next Tuesday.
One way we can find out who the wolves are. Throw a stick and see who chases it.

That was quite amusing, doubtful if it would work but amusing none the less.

Well. We are all in a predicament. The last two villages tried the same tactic to rid themselves of their problem. One was sucessful, and one was not. They hung someone in the village every night, until the evil was gone.
Formally, I would like to cast my vote.

Not Thrakath. Not as long as the ale flows freely. (Just because I am a man of cloth doesn't mean that I cannot enjoy some of the simple pleasures on this earth! As long as it is not to excess...)
I will not vote to hang anyone, unless there is a majority. My stomach churns with the very idea of possibly hanging an innocent. But we CANNOT sit idly by while the evil hunts at night.
May Jimbango protect us all!

I had the doors closed last night so I didn't hear much. I'm hoping that we can get the same luck the Brontians did in finding the killers.

Aren't werewolves afraid of ...garlic, right? We just put garlic into each mug of ale, and see who doesn't drink...
Or is it silver...(rolls a 1 on his Knowledge:Religion check) Ah, I can't remember.

Yes, we have but there are more of us then the wolves.
And if drinking garlic ale is the test you want to put everyone thru? Go right ahead, I'll be the first to drink.
*drinks the garlic ale, makes a funny face as it really doesn't taste good, then slams the mug on the table*
There! See! I ain't no wolf.
