The Troup County Sheriff's Office said it has arrested a former cheerleading coach on charges of having an inappropriate relationship with a young teenage boy.

Investigators charged Elizabeth Gaddy, 45, a current teacher at Callaway Middle School in Hogansville, with child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes.

Gaddy is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old male student. Police said Gaddy had been having sexual contact with him for several months.

Sgt. Kelli Ellington said some of the alleged behavior occurred at Gaddy's home in Hogansville and also on dirt roads in Troup County. Ellington said none of the alleged behavior occurred on school grounds.

Gaddy was already on administrative leave because of a previous investigation into allegations of inappropriate contact with students.

She is being held in the Troup County Jail.
