What kind of non-human races do people like in a table-top Fantasy RPG?

In d&d, I like gnomes. Mostly because they have bad pr. I had a gnome bard in a prev campaign (now, he had a smattering of other classes like barbarian and fighter, and 10 levels in dragon disciple, but his highest core class was bard), and I think I changed peoples minds a bit. With some creativity, gnomes can be quite fun to roleplay.

Hmm, tough call.  I think I play Elves the most.  I do enjoy playing dwarves and the occasional halfling.

Elves are what I play a lot of if it's non-human, or halfling.  Not much else really, never been a dwarf fan.
