life has been good to me - Joe Walsh
sympathy for the devil - can't think of it right now
stealin' when I should'a been buyin' - Uriah Heap
Signs - Buffalo Springfield
cat's in the craddle - Jim Crochie (something like that)

And yeah, I know those are really old songs...
This question is too hard this early in the morning.  I'd likely pick a different five if I were in a different mood.  U2 and Billy Joel shouda been in there somewhere.

Wow. This is almost as hard as top 5 movie favs. BUT here goes nothin'.

1) Pride ( In The Name Of Love ) by U2...one of the most inspirational songs I have ever heard from a rock band!....from Ireland!
2) We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions by Queen...one of my first favorite rock out songs from my childhood( along with Bohemian Rhapsody )!
3) Could You Be Loved by Bob Marley...yes mon! Tis me favorit reggae jam yeeeess!
4) What I've Done by Linkin Park...I don't usually like these guys but I love the theme in this song!
5) Fool's Gold by The Stone Roses (extended remix version)...love the guitar riffs and the lyrics. These guys along with Siouxie and the Banshees are my favorite new wave/early alternative rock bands.

Okay, I stand corrected. This was as hard as picking my top fav. movies!!!! I just took a look at the time and I took over an hour to make my decisions. Shocked

It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination.
