I dunno. When I first heard of the Transformers movie, I didn't plan to see it ( didn't care for the cartoon nor for the animated cartoon movie ) but when I did, I liked it...alot even. The chances of that happening again with G.I.Joe ( another cartoon I didn't care for ) are pretty slim.  Undecided

From what I've read, most people seemed to have enjoyed this more than Transformers, and the previews make it seem more ridiculous than it actually is.

It's actually pretty good. It's good enough, for me anyways, to see the sequel when it is released.

I enjoyed the movie.  If you enjoyed the Cartoon at all, you will like the movie.  There is no deep plot or anything like that.  It's just like the cartoon in a lot of ways.

I would give it 3 out of 5 stars.  It is quite ridiculous at times.  At least in Transformers, you go into it knowing its going to be a little ridiculous.  A lot of action and blowing stuff up, and eazy on the acting and plot.  So if you like that kinda thing, you'll like this movie.

We saw it while at Gencon.  I actually fell asleep for a few minutes during the movie.  Mmmm nice comfy chair, dark theater, nothing at all to keep my brain engaged...

Try "District 9". That might keep you awake. It's getting better reviews than G.I.Joe and I recently found out why. Smiley
