Do I have to pick only one? There are really only 3 or 4 authors that I read these days... oh well, if I have to pick one...

Raymond E. Feist and as to why, I have one word for you, Pug.

My favorite author of all time...tough call.  I think I will have to go with Tolkien.  I think I have read The Hobbit and Fellowship of the Ring more times then I have any other book.  I still don't remember a lot of details from the books but it definitely is the root of my I love fantasy and RPGs so much.

I'd have to go with Wies and Hickman, their collaborated writings are still my favorite books.  I just like their writing style, story arcs, and characters more than any others I've read.

I'm gonna have to go with George Orwell. Because he challenged the way that I look at the world.

Heinlein is by far my favorite.  I've read and reread more of his stuff than any other author.  He has such a broad range of things he's written, I can find just about anything to fit my mood.
