Do you follow any sport?  What got you into it if you do, or why don't you if you don't?

NASCAR, and my wife got me into it, but my son likes to watch the cars go round and round the track too.

I would have to say the only sport I ever watched was football, probably because thats all my parents ever watched as far as sports went, just Bears games.  So for the longest time thats all I ever really watched.  It wasn't until 2 years ago when I started playing fantasy football, that I actually had fun watching other football games.  Now I can't wait for the season to start.

Baseball, I grew up watching the Cubs games whenever I could.  It was always an interesting game to watch because you never knew if the team in the lead would stay there.

My parents were never into sports, but I got into a few of them anyway.  I got into following the White Sox after finding I was related to one of their pitchers at the time, and growing up with the son of a Sox outfielder, but I follow them mostly from a distance.

I love football though, and fantasy football does have a lot to do with it.  But beyond that, I enjoy the game that is part sport, part strategy and a true test of being a team all the time, and it's one of the few sports I can sit and watch regularly, let alone watch a game I have no personal interest in.

I was exposed ( with my clothes on ) to the Cubs when I was little ( boy, what a memory ) 'cause my parents used watch it on the tube. I think they watched it 'cause my second cousins were HUGE fans and we used to hang out with 'em. I lost interest because I got tired of watching them lose so I turned my attention to comic books and music. After I decided to become a christian back in 1990, I regained my interest in sports when Da Bulls began their "three-peats" dynasty ( I still got the t-shirt I think ). Since then, I've become known as the "seasonal sports fan" 'cause I only watch sports when a Chicago team makes it to the finals or play-offs or championship or whatever. This only pertains to baseball, basketball and football. Hockey? Not so much. For some reason I can never get into that one. I even went to a hockey game twice and it still doesn't interest me. Oh well.

Yeah I know what you mean.  Its like every time I sit down to watch a fight on TV, a hockey game breaks out.
