So, when you think of the 80's, what are some of your favorite songs that come to mind?

Um, I'm going to have to say Ghostbusters and Footloose.  Probably because I remember the movies so well.

"Don't You Forget About Me" by Simple Minds from "The Breakfast Club" movie.
"Don't Go" and "Situation" by Yaz (originally Yazoo) from their "Upstairs At Eric's" album.
"Bizarre Love Triangle" and "Blue Monday" by New Order (preferably the maxi-single club mixes).
"In Your Eyes" and "Biko" by Peter Gabriel (the long video live concert versions).
"Iko Iko" by the Belle Stars from "The Rain Man" movie (definitely definitely a good song. Definitely.)
"The Glamorous Life" by Sheila E. ( the best latino female drummer in existence...if you ever saw this woman in concert, then you know what I'm talking about ).
Anything from U2......I'm soooo bummed that I didn't have the money to go to their concert this year Sad
And my list goes on and on. I could do this all day guys. Grin

Um, I'm going to have to say Ghostbusters...
I prefered I Want a New Drug.

Strangely, I think of Heuy Lewis and the News, Hair Metal (some good, some not), Weird Al, and Michael Jackson.
